DoISO is a utility for creating ISO's and for burning CD's/DVD's. Refreshingly, it does not limit the size of the ISO like most other free ISO utilities. The actual ISO creating engine is 'mkisofs', a powerful command-line utility; the burning is performed by the Windows 2003 Resource Kit Tools - DoISO is a GUI to these command-line utilities. This software is my own creation born out of frustration in my attempts to create a simple DVD-sized ISO of some folders on my PC for sharing among workmates. The only software I found capable of doing it were time-limited commercial demos. There may be other options out there, but for ease of use I doubt I'd be convinced to use any other software.
DVD-Video is another feature of DoISO - basically you can get a non-copyrighted DVD and create a perfect ISO image of it in the correct DVD-Video format. You can also select your own ISO level, and a drag-drop interface is supported. Future developments include a treeview structure editor where you can construct your ISO based upon a number of individual folders.
The burning capability came later, and this has made DoISO significantly more useful - you don't need to swap programs anymore in order to get your created ISO onto physical media. Give it a try, it's simple to use and a quick way to get files archived onto media, or maintain your software library.
